Day 2

Woke up this morning and weighed in: down .4 pounds, and was a little bit hungry around 7 am which normally I am not.

The first few days of anything are always easy for me- I am concerned about giving up after that. Hence this blog. Hoping it will be the thing I need to keep me on track.

I read that this way of eating took about 12 days for people to get used to in the experiments they did. Keeping that in mind. This evening was a little more challenging than yesterday, probably because of the workout I did, but I kept busy and bedtime came soon enough.

My day looked like this:

7a:  coffee with half and half and a homemade banana muffin
8ish: LEKfit Define workout
9ish: green veggie juice, a scrambled egg with some cooked salmon added in and another 1/2 muffin
12pm: 3 rolled taquitos from evol, sour cream, dark chocolate pb cup and an iced coffee with chocolate syrup
430pm was the earliest I could manage dinner because we were so busy this afternoon running around. I also was not at all hungry until 4 and would have struggled to have dinner before then. I think for purposes of this experiment though, it's still early enough. Dinner was sirloin steak, a little mashed potato, green beans, some mango yogurt and a splash of mango juice in sparkling water. Also another dark chocolate pb cup.
Now writing this at 9pm and am hungry. Will drink a load of water and head to bed.

I wonder if I really can do this for 30 days. I mean I know I can but will I?? Halloween is in 2 days and I don't want to use it as one of my social engagement days. We will be heading to a friend's house for trick or treating and as I mentioned friend's houses are tough for me to say no. There will be pizza from a place where I do not like the pizza- it's just really not tasty at all. You would think that would be incentive enough for me not to eat but I am so bad with feeling peer pressured if everyone else is eating. I'm only writing this to help me be strong on the day to follow through with what I really want- which is not to waste an eating experience on that cardboardy "food", and not to waste a day of this experiment on eating when I actually don't want to. I want to choose to eat later only if it's worth it to me and that won't be. I think if I eat around 4 that day, I won't be hungry and that'll be easier on me. Wish me luck please.
